State of Play - End Round 1 Spring 1AE

 At the end of Round 1 Spring, 

the mayor is chosen based on who has the most friends, and the general popularity score.

Sims have had 5 days to discover who they are, and what they like to do without worrying about falling in love. (Unless you're Fiona and Chris - in which case you got into that way earlier than everybody else!)

This 5 day period was the only time when things can be bought from the catalog - so important stuff like benches, and hobby stuff was bought (assuming they had money for it).

Fiddling with the lots to make them work, and make sure isn't any blocked objects or pathing problems. All done.

Spring weather was very wet, and thunder and lightning - very, very frightening! So mods were added as required. Still haven't managed to stop the more foolish of the sims from playing in the puddles in a lightning storm.

Holly Gear opened the first store - a home business florist shop. that also required tweaking to make it work.

So that's all the hood news. Details under the cut:

1. The Mayor. There was lots of visiting both in homes and on the community lot (Mossi lake is for vacations and special events because its further out of town).

 Relationship stats are:

•  Sim Kiri has 4 Best Friends, and 1 Friend.
• Simon has 3 Best Friends and 1 Friend
• Christopher has 3 Best Friends (And is engaged to one of them) 
• Holly has 2 Best Friends, 1 Friend and 1 dislike.
• Stephan has 1 Best Friend, 1 Friend.
• Fiona has 2 Best Friends, and 1 dislike
  

 So the clear winner is Sim-Kiri! She was sim-blended into the Political Career at the start of Summer.

2. Taxes were calculated as follows.

Initial Cash = 20K - Home = 10K  = Net Value at beginning of round 1 Spring.

Current Value at end of round 1 Spring - Net Value at beginning of round 1 Spring = Taxable Income.

Tax = 10% of Taxable Income.

• Holly Gear who had a business and sold daisies paid the most income tax = 70 Simoleons.
• The Studley family made no income and were taxed 0 amount.
• Fiona and Kiri paid 45 Simoleons, and Christopher paid 60.

Current town funds = 224 simoleons.

3. Unlocked: 

• Politics Career. 
• ACR is now unlocked so that romantic actions can occur, but auto-woohoo is turned off and can only occur if both sims roll wants to woo-hoo.
• Sims can get engaged, but cannot get married until the following conditions occur - 

1. Both Sims has the want to get married.
2. At least one but preferably both sims have studied Couples Counselling and/or anger management. Or had couples counselling.
3. Have enough money to have a wedding party, 
4. Pay for a marriage licence from the mayor fee = 100 simoleons.

• Try for Baby is only available if one or both have a want for a baby. (i.e. no risky woohoo this season).
• 1 extra sim due to Holly's Florist business opening.
  

4. Requirements for Summer

1. The community allotment needs to be tweaked so that the food can be harvested from that lot. This means that crops to grow will be removed and only wild harvesting will occur - i.e. berries, mushrooms and nuts.
2. One Sim will be required to open a grocery store that is stocked with food grown in 4 Corners.
3. Other businesses will need to be opened by the local sims with goods provided by sims in 4 Corners.
